The article says that re-infection is uncommon during 90 days, and then says

We won’t know how long immunity lasts after vaccination until we have more data on how well COVID-19 vaccines work in real-world conditions.

meh, I'll take my chances. I have it right now, and it's a mild flu. Just exhausted all the time, and some coughing.

Right, so basically the entire premise of the vaccine is “we’re guessing but hope that once you’ve all taken it we’ll have some data to see if it’s any good...”

Pretty much. Also helps them document the occurrences of Bells Palsy and infanticide by vaccine.
