The only way they can justify banning felons is by calling them no longer full citizens. But you’re not allowed to take citizenship from someone unless they have dual citizenship.

If they can't be trusted to own a gun, then they shouldn't be on the street.

If they are safe enough to released, then they should have all the rights they had before they went in. Anything less and the whole "correctional" system is worthless.

We can't just compensate for a broken ass system by trying to take rights from law abiding citizens. You fix the problem at it's source. But that would be too much work for fucking politicians to handle.
