The infiltrators were using fire extinguishers like tear gas dispensers - for theatrical effect. Reportedly one person in the crowd died of a heart attack another of a stroke - these may have been triggered by irritant. The fifth death was never reported clearly - a person went to his car to get something and was found dead later - I think that was at the speeches and not even at the Capitol.
