I think all federal employees should be limited to that many years of service as a civil servant and then not be able to take a job as a contractor for the agency they worked for. I don't care if there is a pension later for it, I just want them to not be lifelong career.

I also think a lot of federal agencies can go away.

Yeah, but you didn't pull in $174,000 a year for being a B.S. agent either, as almost all of them are.

Congress should not get paid at all. That way corrupt people will have less incentive.

Since January 2009, the salary for Members of Congress has been $174,000.00.

A full pension is a % of this, supposedly depending on no. of years of service and based on last 3 year's of "service".
