Most of the fashion world is run by women and gay men... so I never understood how it's our fault the fashion industry is placing "unrealistic standards" on women.

The only ones who give a shit and set beauty standards are other women.

I wear makeup when I’m bored or want to do something creative (eyeshadow is like painting in a way). That’s literally it. And those “standards” on women haven’t existed in over a decade. Look around- women that are 300+ pounds are models now. Nobody cares anymore lol
