Yep. But there are actual disparate impact regs that can make it illegal to consider citizenship or lack thereof for hiring purposes. Total bullshit.

There are also laws that require businesses to use valid social security numbers for tax purposes when dealing with its employees and payroll. Giving false information is grounds for termination basically anywhere. It seems like companies are being forced to commit fraud or break some nonsensical regulation. How is this not entrapment?
