Unrelated, but damn am I glad that Rush is still with us. I haven't personally listened to him in years in favor of new blood, but I really thought he wouldn't even make it to Election Day.
I love Rush. He feels the same way we all do. He is truly a national treasure and we are lucky to still be able to hear his voice and wisdom.

I believe he was holding on till the election and then when he realized the shitshow that it became realized that he REALLY needed to hold on to help us weather the storm. He is definitely a comforting voice to hear and I think he knows he has a job to do. This alone I believe will help him to persevere as long as he is able to.
I had stopped listening to him back in the mid '90s, figuring that he had sold-out.
About six years ago, co-workers listened to him daily, and so began my newfound respect for Rush.
He never sold out. No idea what I was thinking all those years ago.
Well, he was rather independent at first - then GHWB invited him to the Whitehouse to stay in the Lincoln bedroom.
At the time, I felt like he had been brought over to the NWO side and became a bit of a GOP shill.
That said, he still has done a great job overall.
