There are many legal ways to minimize the taxes you owe, but we smartasses would be here all day trying to write it all down for you.

You need to do your research and see what would work best for you and your family. In my case, I'm retired and don't owe much taxes, but I did find a couple of "gibs" I can qualify for, which will bring in enough to offset the taxes I do pay, so that I'm paying net zero taxes.

that'a fantastic. I'm super happy you are not in my generation or the ones after as we will be fucked by taxes at rates mucb higher. So the snarky comment is useless as I have looked at tax avoidance but there is no way to avoid income tax unless you have a business, are in real estate, or work under the table. The latter of which makes it so you will never get a loan or mortage. so please share some of that granny wisdom that I seem to be missing out on after readings input from dozens of others who know tax avoidance.

Well may i snarkily say, that my kids have their own business and pay little or no taxes. Other family members are single income families with children and find many ways to minimize their tax obligation.

There are many legal ways you can find, if are angry enough at having no legitimate representation. But first you have to lose the"all talk no action" attitude!!!

lie on your business taxes or have a kid and get money from the government. that's your advice? sit back in your retirement chair and don't tell us workers what to do when we pay a third of our income for people mentioned above. All talk no real advice, probably still a republican too 🙃

I'm not a tax advisor, and even if I was I wouldn't presume to give tax advice to a stranger on the internet. Millions of people already pay little or no taxes. You could be one of them, but you have to make the effort. Or keep paying the 30%.

don't you hold in your faith to help people, even strangers? too many empty words in too many places now days. even this child, millenial can sense the arrogance in that statement.
