I'm wondering the same thing. I have no doubt that Trump attracted a lot of Democrat crossover voters, not to mention the whole #walkaway and #blexit movements.

I’m one of those. I voted Democrat for 25 years before President Trump came along, then I voted for him in 2016, with Dem downballot (I was still half insane) and then party-line R last time.
And it’s not because my politics changed, the left just stopped standing for things like freedom of speech, and that’s a dealbreaker for me, because everything else springs from that.
This is great news. This isn’t a Bull Moose spoiler party, this is throwing the GOP in the dustbin.
