Stations are not moved when new developement encumbers the location.Where most stations were originally located in remote grassy area, now are surrounded by big heat sources...A/C condensors, black top parking lots, giving an upward bias trend, which is driving the lies.
If you knew they no longer took the temp in the shade than it might make sense why this is the case.
