So we know based on history what’s happened in other countries during a Marxist method to create communism in other countries. We can apply that history and see it happening right before our eyes, at least those of us paying attention. Let’s be positive about why we’re different and why this won’t happen here. Don’t call me a faggot doomer shill or whatever. I’m looking for ideas and hope.

I like this idea. We all know what’s happening, but we need to take an opportunity to look inside ourselves, for inspiration. No future is set, so here’s my list:

  1. Second Amendment. Never before has a populace had the culture of self-defense, that we have. The sheer amount of weaponry, our respect for the power that it holds, and our willingness to defend ourselves. Our farmboys, in the Revolution, grew up with guns as an extension of themselves. They were the best shots, in the world, and the British paid dearly, for it. That line has continued to you, reading this.

  2. History of self-governance. Yes, it’s never been perfect, and we need a lot of fixing, but we have a 250 year history of selecting amongst ourselves, to protect a federally devolved government. We just came through the most prosperous three years of our country’s history. Communism has enjoyed greatest success through countries that were near the brink of absolute hell. They never had any history of republicanism, at all. Yes, there are exceptions, but nobody else matches our history.

  3. Founding principles, rooted in Judeo-Christian values. Despite the wailing of the left, the majority of the people, in this country, believe that our rights are given by God, worship of the state is unnatural, to many of us. Self-ownership, the right to forge one’s own destiny, individual judgment, and a belief in the inherent equality under the law, are all realizations of the founders, rooted in their belief. The thesis of America, is that the individual is the ultimate minority. I know that much of this has been erased, but we have our anger, that it has been taken.

  4. Bravery. To be succinct, we are a brave people. From 15 year-olds, who too up muskets, against the most powerful empire in the world, to 20 year-olds charging into machine gun fire, fully expecting to die, when the world needs heroes, we are willing. We believe that our country has been called for greatness, and that any one of us could be the one to answer its call. America’s greatest glory will be in successfully extricating itself from the grips of communism; and it will be done by seemingly ordinary people, like you, and me.

  5. Thirst for truth. Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin weren’t founders, by accident. They were also accomplished inventors. Curiosity is essential, for freedom; it’s a quest for truth. Americans flew the first plane, for about a dozen yards. Sixty years later, we put a man on the moon. We sent probes outside of the solar system. The desire for truth is what makes you free. Too many Americans know this; despite the sorry state of us, this spirit cannot be put back in the box.

  6. Neighbors. Liberals live in cities. They don’t know their neighbors. They are obstacles, on the way to work. I know my neighbors. I know their kids. We help each other. We know whom we can trust. Theirs is a sad, lonely existence. We have lives rich in friendship and family. We are individuals, with a vast array of skills. When we combine our skills, in love and fellowship, hatred is an ant, beneath our boot.

That’s just a few, off the top of my head. I strongly encourage you to craft your own. Even if no one else reads it. Make it a post. You might inspire someone else, or yourself. Then, take action. You don’t need to be an Ethan Allen, Davy Crockett, or George Patton, to make a spark. Never give up, never stop fighting, never stop loving. Some days, it may take every ounce of strength that you have, just to put one foot down. Those days, put that foot down as goddamn hard as you can. The spirits of the men at Valley Forge, Morristown, and Okinawa are all around you. Your bravery breathes life back into them. The bones of America are beginning to shake, at the anticipation of your destiny. Of all of the people in American history, God has chosen you for this moment. He has done this because you, and only you, are uniquely able to fight this. Take your destiny; it is now your turn to write the story of America.

Wow great read thank you! There’s a lot here to think about. I will continue to build on this. Ultimately I need to connect with others and do something.
