I make sure to tell everybody at every opportunity that the only person who was killed during the Capitol "riots" was an unarmed Trump supporter who was shot in the neck by the police. Among other things.
I have not seen any evidence that the cop was killed. There are no pictures or videos of him being beaten with a fire extinguisher or anything else. No pictures or videos of any suspects. No arrests. Nothing.
He died a day later due to unknown causes. He texted his family after the protest saying that he'd been pepper sprayed but was otherwise fine and in good spirits, so it seems unlikely that he had his brains bashed in.
There were three Trump supporters who are said to have died of natural causes, which if true means they were not killed. I don't have enough information to speculate on whether or not tear gas played a role.
