You'll have to show me where you got that. I haven't seen an indication from this Pope yet that he would back nation states over his belief that socialism helps poor people. I don't think he understands that socialism actually destroys economies and that on a societal level, "sharing is caring" isn't the way to run an economy.

At least that's how I interpret his remarks because there was no defense of actual morality or how Christians/Catholics are treated in ostensively and historically Christian countries.
