I don't actually know anyone in person who has stopped watching the NFL. My son in law and his dad still watch it, and they're Trump supporters. My brother in law & father in law still watch. They complain about the BLM pandering, but they just can't go without watching a bunch of morons throw a ball and tackle each other.
I have never liked sports. I don't know why - I just never found it interesting. My wife loves that about me!
I stopped watching sports and the only person with whom I would discuss them has also stopped watching. We did this independently of each other. Viewership numbers indicate a pretty steep decline in those who watch.
