Perth pede here. This lockdown commie mask bullshit is already getting to me and it's only been 5 days. It doesn't seem right that they can issue fines on the spot for not wearing a mask when it's been proven they do sweet fuck all. Is there anyone here that knows Aussie law? can they do this shit?

Yep, that’s what blows my mind the most - how many people have just swallowed the lie whole, without any questioning at all. It’s horrifying. It’s why I got stickers printed up that say “if you’ve ever wondered how you would have behaved in Nazi Germany - now you know”. But the irony is that because of the lockdown and the mask mandates I haven’t actually BEEN ANYWHERE to stick them!
You can claim medical exemption ... not sure how well that'd work ...
As for WA, they tried to isolate, then let them in and it caused problems, prepare to be isolated for another few months ...
Over here, they're trying to pull in all of the international students, so we're getting used to random outbreaks from returning international students ...

They probably can do it, at least here in Victoria they can - because of the “state of emergency”. That’s the crux of it. Under normal circumstances no of course not, but if we’re in a “state of emergency” the govt has almost unlimited power and there’s nothing we can do about it. Which is precisely why Comrade Dan is about to extend our “state of emergency” until at least December 2021.

Carry a take away coffee cup with you. Your mask is not required when eating or drinking. Tuck the mask under your chin, sip your coffee and politely walk away from the mask gestapo in order to appropriately 'social distance'. They are only doing their job, as directed, but some of them are so empowered by the mask shit its not funny. Play the rules against them.
