The corruption was way out in the open just prior to the collapse of the Soviet Union as well. In fact it seems like every major empire that collapsed has seen similar behavior.
I honestly think its too late to fix it all. I love this country but personally I think the only remaining way to correct the ship is to reset it. Via revolution, civil war, balkanization, etc.

Or this could be just the beginning...they're purging wrong-thinkers from the military now. Even those with Gadsden flags...no one is safe.

I'm in the same boat.
The core of our government is corrupt and the only way to fix that is carving it out. It won't go willingly.
