I keep pleading with family to understand one thing: It's a Cookbook. It's a Cookbook.
If you've ever seen that Twilight Zone episode, or read the story "To Serve Man," you'll know what I'm talking about.
But my friends and family are exactly like the people who can't wait to board that spaceship to a new world where everything will be given to them and everything will be wonderful, and they hate and rage at anyone who tries to stop them.
That's exactly where we are now. We stand at the foot of the spaceship ramp begging them not to go, that's it's not what they think, it's a trap, it's a cookbook, they will never be free again -
and they just shove us out of the way and spit on us as they charge up that ramp and can't understand why we don't want them to have better lives.
