1923: "Fascism is the concentrated expression of the general offensive undertaken by the world bourgeoisie against the proletariat"
1931: "function of fascism is to smash the working class, destroy its organizations, and stifle political liberties when the capitalists find themselves unable to govern and dominate with the help of democratic machinery"
1938: "That, in its essence, is fascism — ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power."
now: "everybody I don't like is a fascist" because the original definitions fit today's Democrats to a tee.
I don’t want fascism ... but since we got it anyway ... can we at least get competent fascists?
