It fucking burns me up that even Republicans are parroting this "insurrectionist" language. We spent 5+ goddamn months over the summer watching our country burn and innocent people have their skulls smashed into the pavement while the Democrats and media called it "mostly peaceful protest", and yet Republicans just instantly conform to the Democrats' framing of the Capitol protest as "insurrection". Not even "a riot," but fucking insurrection.
How do you have an "insurrection" when no one was even armed? How is what those people did at the Capitol in any way different from what Democrats have done time and again over the last 4 years? These worthless fucking Republicans should be screaming the Democrats' hypocrisy from every rooftop, and instead they're perpetuating their narrative.
