The FBI has ALWAYS been a political dirt seeking organization for the expressed purpose of keep control over politicians. And that job is not that difficult given that politicians are lying scumbags that would say and do anything, even sell their mother and children, for power. It makes clear and total sense for the federal police force (FBI) to dig up political dirt and use when necessary. (JB and HB come to mind)
What Catturd says seems to be backwards in thinking that the FBI works for the Democrats or any political party for that matter. Fact is, the FBI are the ones WITH the dirt files AND the guns. (HB's laptop dirt comes to mind)
This goes ALL the way back to J. Edgar Hoover in the 60's who perfected dirt collection as the FBI's purpose and culture (sidebar: interesting name Hoover for picking up dirt).
Professing to be a federal crime fighting organization is just a fancy front to a political dirt mining organization. And the Patriot Act made it that much easier and simple for them to do it.
When they realized that Trump had a chance to be on the Presidential ticket, they went after him hard to find political dirt, any kind of dirt, because they simply had NOTHING on the guy and needed to get something as a means of control. This is what they do.
And after they turned over every leaf and stone with a former FBI director leading the charge, they found NOTHING and were forced to use extreme tactics to get rid of him. (2020 election comes to mind)
With all the election fraud evidence lying in plain sight, it's just being naïve to think they had no idea or weren't involved with the goings on in the 2020 election.
