even at schools like Stanford or Harvard - all you have to do is show up to all classes to pass... that is it... come to class = 100% guaranteed degree. especially true of private super expensive schools... if you 1-pay 2-show up.. you get degree.

I did online school for my Bachelor's degree at a decent university. One thing I learned is that a majority of my classmates were complete fucking idiots. A degree doesn't mean shit.
I've been tasked with fully staffing departments about 8 times and I always prefer self-taught self-starters over college grads. I want people who can learn and grow not people who show-up with a head full of bullshit nonsense.
