The Constitution calls for the separation of church and state

There is no separation of church and state clause in the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, or the Bill of Rights. I believe it was in letters one of the Founders had written. The Establishment Clause is there in 1A to prevent the Gov from forcing citizens to be of a favored or preferred religion.

1A guarantees freedom OF religion; while I am a Christian and would prefer the Bible be used, it would be a violation of the 1A to require the Bible.

We were founded on Christian principles but the 1A prevents us from being any sort of religion.

I think you read right past my comment.
