Keep in mind this is being done from a NASA launch facility.

Did the FAA fine NASA when they rained bits of space shuttle across the whole state?

Boca Chica, TX, about 20 miles from Brownsville. From what I've read, NASA had no presence there and SpaceX built their facility from scratch. SpaceX has made offers to buy out all property owners in Boca Chica at 3X the appraised value.

Ah, I thought they were doing the testing from from the same place they've been launching the Starlink missions from, which is a NASA facility. I never thought to check that.
