So here are the two options as I see it regarding the entire phenomenon and believe it or not they are both POTENTIAL YUGE WINS for our side. None of this is based on any knowledge or information (insider or otherwise) NOR is ANY OF THIS POST really speculation on my part either. Just simply applying logic to what are the plain facts.
OPTION 1) "Q" Was Affiliated With Trump Somehow
OPTION 2) "Q" Was Not Affiliated With Trump In Any Way At All
If 1) then you literally "believe" in Q. If 2) then you literally "believe" in Q as well but you actually believe in an additional layer of conspiracy that without proof is just a theory.
BUT ALSO:
If 1) then there is potential that "Q" is still going on. If 2) then FOR SURE "Q" is still going on.
ONE LAST THING..... PERHAPS SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST:
If 1) that means Trump could reveal "Q" if he wanted to. If 2) then Trump could reveal "Q" if he wanted to, in turn exposing a giant psyop.... one that is presumably against him and his administration.
Basically the only way any of this works against Trump is if somehow he had zero connection to it or idea who was behind it and just let it grow like a wildfire and is still doing so for some reason despite it not having anything to do with him. When you put it that way this almost seems like the MOST FARFETCHED of all the possible scenarios. That is, unless you think he's some kind of moron that doesn't understand meme culture, marketing and the like.

I view Qanon as a low budget digital campaign using back channels to create offensive content and digital armies on commie controlled platforms.
Think about it. The media was throwing all kinds of wild conspiracy theories about Trump. Pee tape, hookers, Putin bullshit. Q came along and created a unique way to play the same game.
While doing so they dropped some truth and taught them the values of decentralized information consumption.
We also knew the lefts plans of creating a civil war. Had many not had Q planting the seeds of standing down, they left would have gotten their domestic terror campaign to take out opposition. That's why we heard long ago that Q is meant to prevent action..well that makes more sense now. Imagine how it would be used against us.
That's my opinion.
Putting it into my "Q" Tug O' War Logical Matrix:
You're an option 2) guy.
BUT: why do you think Trump wouldn't blow the lid on such an operation and why would he play into it? Your scenario would only really work if Trump himself were duped by "Q" (highly unlikely) or in on it (ie, not option 2 so you gotta start over).
Qanon changed hands, what was led by a digital marketing group moved to some underground retired intel folks. Trump probably knew the campaign at a very high level but they didn't keep him in the know.
So he knew of the campaign but he didn't know the aim of the campaign? Wouldn't the conclusion of that be that he got played, ie. the option in which Trump looks dumbest and most complicit despite the whole thing being out of his hands the entire time?
He knew the aim and concept but at a high level. He didn't get played so I don't know how you came to that conclusion. The campaign stopped years back.

He knew high level. The campaign launched then they decided to shut it down. The conspiracy picked up by some stooges not connected to Trump. The linguistic models show it changed hands. Those who believed Q at face value got played.
Ok. Your theory makes more sense now, but still lacks context so I fully understand:
When did this happen and why didn't Trump denounce Q afterwards?
I ask because I don't think there is a logical answer to this question that is satisfactory. You end up back at the "Trump got played" option which as I have said seems the least likely of all scenarios to me.
I think you are really resentful and angry at Trump over Q.
Trump never bends to media demands. He dances around it and takes a soft approach. He has always done this and I only know of 2 instances where he denounced something because of media hysteria. Charlottesville incident where he was interviewed at Trump Tower and the Debate where he was asked to tell Proud Boys to stand down. Even then he didn't do explicitly what they asked.
If you remember Q moved from 4chan to 8chan then to 8kun. The change happened during one of those breaks. There is a whole article and linguistic analysis done by European team that proves the linguistic style changed. That's when I think the campaign ended and another group picked it up.
