Im pretty sure that foreign countries hacking into the election is a matter of national security, is it not? Im not buying this idea that states can run an election (a federal one) like a banana republic and then the outcome of said banana republic must be accepted by the states that follow the rules? That sounds like utter bullshit to me. We have DHS, NSA, space force, military intel, cyber security, special forces, trillions of dollars plus assets at our disposal and none of those toys can be used to secure a federal election? Pshh. If that's the case, Im out. Let the fucking country fall apart. States seceeding is the only way forward if the top down system is this fucking broken and the most powerful military stands there and watches it happen. What is the point in trying to fight and save a republic that hasnt been a true republic in over 100 years?

5 states behaving like tin pot commie dictators not only supresses the RIGHTS of those people in those states, it supresses all of our rights by fucking the federal election up. Im not on board with this newsmax/fox news bullshit narrative that the executive branch is totally helpless if a state starts acting like a mini banana republic. What next? "Well, we can't stop the gulags in new york because muh states rights and the courts wouldnt take the case, sooo we have to vote it out next time."...BULLSHIT

That’s because those states have the most populations and get the most weight in presidential elections . The only place that the constitution gives equal weight between all of the states is in the Senate… Each state gets an equal 2 person representation. We can only blame the framers of our country for this.

There’s no real way to change that because it’s hardcoded into our constitution… And amending that document is a pain in the ass.
