Just payed my property taxes and realized that I'm paying the government rent for my house and they're using it to pay rent for other people. Feels bad man.
Worst thing for the fed was income tax. Having it as tarrifs and son tax made it a part of the market and an avoidable part. Worst thing for states was property taxes, can’t avoid them.
