The police are not really there to get involved with politics. They are there to serve. A lot of LEOs don't like this nonsense, but they rarely do anything about it, because to do so is to go against their oath to serve.

I personally believe that the left is trying to get us to hate all cops. Know this, just like every group, there're good ones and bad ones. The good ones are fighting in their own way, everyday. The bad ones are also fighting. Cheer on the Good ones, denounce the bad ones.

I don't agree with this serve and "bad apples" bit anymore. The police protect the left so I don't see how the left is trying to make us hate them.

Cops routinely ignore people or take their sweet as time to actually do their job. But when it comes to masks and closing businesses or busting churches in parking lots, arresting soccer mom's without masks they act like wild boar.

I think they are like predators. They go hard after law abiding citizens who are standing up for th CONSTITUTION but ignore insane leftists cause leftists will fight back.

The police, typically align in how they serve to the areas local politics. Local police have been some of the nicest people I know, but the police departments in the big cities are crap.

They serve the interests of the local people usually. Cops do have issues, but ignoring the good ones and focusing solely on the bad ones makes it hard to deal with the problems, especially since the good ones usually have really good suggestions on how to deal with the bad ones.

Yea I was really gearing this question to city police and those who are arresting small business owners and maskless soccer mom's while kneeling to BLM while they tear shit up. The big cities are the vast majority of our population which means the vast majority of cops are in those areas.

A small town team of 10 cops is not who I mean here.

The issue is that majority of police, exist in those small towns and suburbs. Only a small percentage of police exist in the areas where they have the power to arrest small business owners and maskless soccer moms. There're more of US than we care to admit.

They are there to serve

Serve who, exactly?

They "serve" the people who are their bosses. Nothing more.

They do as they are told. They are "order followers".
