The police, typically align in how they serve to the areas local politics. Local police have been some of the nicest people I know, but the police departments in the big cities are crap.
They serve the interests of the local people usually. Cops do have issues, but ignoring the good ones and focusing solely on the bad ones makes it hard to deal with the problems, especially since the good ones usually have really good suggestions on how to deal with the bad ones.
Yea I was really gearing this question to city police and those who are arresting small business owners and maskless soccer mom's while kneeling to BLM while they tear shit up. The big cities are the vast majority of our population which means the vast majority of cops are in those areas.
A small town team of 10 cops is not who I mean here.
The issue is that majority of police, exist in those small towns and suburbs. Only a small percentage of police exist in the areas where they have the power to arrest small business owners and maskless soccer moms. There're more of US than we care to admit.
