... it isn't!

Mafia is running everything into complete devastation in a mad rush to greedily reward themselves.

If we return to God and get our asses to work we can save our country, liberty, lives, and futures.

Higher energy prices transfer wealth from cities/tech, who are big consumers, to the rural producing areas in the form of royalties, development & pipeline charges. We are in an economic/political war and need wealth transfer to drown out the blue areas and strengthen red areas. It sucks but in war or a siege, both sides suffer but any little edge may be the key to winning the war.

The more expensive it is for Americans to do business, the easier it is for China to undercut them.

It is just getting started, wait till they start tossing on $4 or more for the carbon taxes and Paris Climate payments.. Figure $10 a gallon like in Europe and Japan in a year or so.. Talk about crushing the economy..

21
SBOJ_JOBS 21 points ago +21 / -0

In 2019, the EU imported about 15 million barrels of oil per day. Since the election, the price of Brent Crude has increased about $30 per barrel, so it will cost the EU an extra 450 million dollars per day. Mostly transferred to Russia. But Europe hates Trump and thinks Russia loves Trump.

The stupid will burn every EU citizen.

Most don't remember when it was hitting $5+ a gallon thanks to Bush/Osama.. oops I mean Obama, same thing anyway🤷‍♂️

Just for comparison, where I live in Canada, gas prices are about $1.40 CAD per Liter. There are 3.8 L per gallon. That's about $4.15 USD per gallon.

1
roadrunner0 1 point ago +1 / -0

Just like Canada there is already enough tax to more then double the cost.. If you look at the comodity pricing for wholesale gasoline you will see that it is around $1.20us a gallon then add 15% to 20% for delivery and retail costs.. The rest is Local, State and Federal taxes totaling around a $1.. In California and New York you can add another $1 to $2 in State taxes.. So wait till they add the $4 a gallon for the Paris Climate deal and another $3 or more for the "Green Deal" and carbon taxes.. Then there will be a yearly Carbon tax on the vehicle itself that will take the $50 registration fee to $600 to $1,000 like California.. They also plan to add another tax when you purchase things that are not eco friendly like plastics and electronics and meats.. So besides the sales tax you will pay a global carbon tax..

Depends where you live I guess. It's higher here than it was.

My niece said the same. Why is it costing so much to charge my Tesla? Tried to explain it to her how batteries are actually charged. Went over her head.

TheCandorist 9 points ago +10 / -1

Nope. They definitely don't understand that. I've tried to explain their dumb fuckery around here that even charging their car is using coal. Blank stare.

4
trump2036 4 points ago +4 / -0

I have solar panels on my roof to charge my car and completely power my house. ROI is 7 years because my power costs are low - $0.135/kwh.

4
Nerdrem 4 points ago +4 / -0

You realize those things don't last very long right?

1
trump2036 1 point ago +1 / -0

What do you mean by long? The panels and the microinverters have 25 year warranties. Which means I get 18 years of free power before I have to think about out of pocket costs to replace a worn panel.

The bigger issue is if you need your roof replaced before your panels need replacing. Thats why you shouldn't get solar unless your roof is being replaced too.

1
FlyinHeadlock 1 point ago +2 / -1

Solar is good if you live like a hermit. Most people in the US however do not live that way and certainly not me. It's not going to heat my pool, hot tub, freezers, central vac, treadmill, TV's, heat or cool my large home. And almost ALL the major advocates of solar live like I live along with having private jets and multiple homes. To each their own. Want to live like Frodo Baggins go for. Just don't come to my pool party talking about solar panels.

0
trump2036 0 points ago +1 / -1

What the hell are you talking about?

My 17kw system completely generates all the power my household uses, including my car. That means 3000 sq ft with 5 ton AC, pool, appliances, etc. It generates about 28,000 kwh a year.

I don't even need a power wall since I have net metering. Without TOU rates, time shifting power isn't possible, which means no ROI on it.

2
FlyinHeadlock 2 points ago +2 / -0

I said to each their own. It will not work for me. I have 22 large trees around my home and I live on a golf course. I'm not getting enough sun to matter and golf balls do hit my roof. This does not take into account the leaves, dust, pinecones, Magnolia cones and branches falling on the roof. This is my entire neighborhood. My energy bills though are still very low. Probably lower than yours. I invested in state of the art windows, doors and insulation and the the trees provide a massive amount of shade. I rarely have to cool the home even in the deep south.

1
trump2036 1 point ago +1 / -0

no one said it was for everyone. if you get no sun on your roof, it would be dumb to install solar. not sure why you thought that would be useful info, who do you think would think otherwise?

3
AIRHORN4TRUMP 3 points ago +3 / -0

Go find your local/regional RTO/ISO website and check out how much energy comes from renewables. Our breakdown for this month is this:

46% Natural Gas 36% Nuclear 10% Renewables
6% Hydro 2% Coal

Now lets look closer at "renewables":

41% Refuse 38% Wood 21% Wind <1% Landfill Gas

Definition of "Refuse": "Waste-to-energy or energy-from-waste is the process of generating energy in the form of electricity and/or heat from the primary treatment of waste, or the processing of waste into a fuel source. "

AKA we burn garbage for energy.

38% Wood. Carbon release anyone?

So out of 10% "renewables" 2.1% is actually a clean renewable energy source of wind power. Not sure why solar isn't there, maybe because winter sucks dick and everything (solar panels) is covered in snow.

I'll add the 6% hydro out of good will but that is imported from Canada mostly so really we are 8.1% renewables right now which honestly isn't too bad compared to previous years.

trump2036 1 point ago +1 / -0

There are losses, but its fairly minimal. It's in the 96% efficiency from the wall to the car. Tesla's API lets you monitor consumption and log it. Here's the last few charges on my car.

My model 3 gets about 250-290 wh per mile depending on how much fun I'm having with it. If we use 250 wh as the measurement, that's a nice even 4 miles per kwh.

100 miles is 25 kwh. 13 cents is the national average, so $3.25 for 100 miles.

But as I said in the other posts below, my solar panels on my roof covers 100% of my car's power.

1
redinmn 1 point ago +2 / -1

Ask a kid in many big cities where milk comes from and they freak out when they find out it is from cows. They have no clue how the world works. They drink their milk, or charge their tesla with no concept how it happened. Then they vote against their own best interest because of it.

1
Ocineaa 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's like ppl dont realize when big corporations say they're going 100% electric they're lying through their teeth. The energy grid can't handle all the cars charging at once. Especially in CA or NY where they already have energy issues

Gas is noticeable. Take a closer look at some of the everyday products you buy. Prices are relatively stable but look at what you're getting for your money. I bought a stick of deodorant that was only 1/4 filled of what I used to get. A bottle of glue was half-full. Bags of chips which are usually only half full because of "Settling" now have only a couple handfulls of chips in them. We're being tricked into believing prices are stable, but anything you can't see until you've opened it you're getting a lot less and less. Pretty soon they won't be able to hide it anymore and will be drastically increasing prices of these meager amounts of product you're getting now. This is the $10 loaf of bread we joked about in gradeschool 40 years ago when we mocked Russians standing in line for toilet paper. It's here, now, and we're letting it happen.

3
Sparhawk007 3 points ago +3 / -0

Every time I fill up, I say out loud the gas price and some form of "Fuck You Biden". I've gotten a couple weird looks, but I did get a disembodied "Amen Brother" a few days ago.

They desperately want to crash the economy...and then blame Trump, saying that it is the result of his policies, knowing that the brain-frozen Leftards will accept and parrot whatever the ABCNBCCBSCNNMSNBCFOX News Channel says is truth.

They want to destroy the economy to finish killing off the small business person (whether they be Republican-, Libertarian-, Independent-, or Democrat-owned), which they see has a threat, because they mean independence from corporate fascists and government largesse. They want you to be completely dependent on governmental decisions and benefits, and to only deposit your government-given money to the approved corporate machines.

Do not fool yourself in to thinking otherwise. There are indeed fools that are paraded as the puppets "in control" of the government pushing these Leftist policies, but they are just that, puppets of people in the shadows who are pulling the strings with a much grander, and much more sinister plan.

UNPOPULAR OPINION INCOMING

The price of gasoline needs to go up. Long term, you’re talking about a potential for even the large energy companies to be unable to turn a profit and then, IDK, either we all get to sit our asses in the dark or the government starts bailing that shit out. You’re talking massive economic impact.

However, prices dipped because demand collapsed. I’d much prefer prices go up because consumption went back to normal. I don’t like what’s happening here at all.

5
hehehuhuhhoho 5 points ago +5 / -0

Like clockwork, the narrative seed planted to excuse Democrats for doing something wrong. You ever notice that Democrats are never doing mental gymnastics to excuse Republicans for doing bad stuff, but Republicans spend hours trying to rationalize why Dems shit on Americans.

4
Thunderbolt45 4 points ago +4 / -0

Raising the price of a product while demand is low is a poor business decision. If people don’t want your product when it is cheap, demand will only get worse when you raise the price.
