I do not know about others, I can just speak for myself. I have always got a lot of pollsters calling, texting, mail, E-mail. This one caught me off guard for one reason... The "bot" responded. I get a text asking me to take a poll in (my state) and in (my county) from a bot. Nothing unusual so far except I tell the bot its area code is to Illinois (not the state or county college which I live). Bot says this "A consequence, I'm afraid, of cellphone technology that has severed the link between area codes and geography". I say "Ask away with the questions but I will not click on any links", bot? replies "Well, this is an online poll, not much I can do about that, I bid you a good day sir".

The paranoid in me thinks that these people need real poll data to use to back up some agenda they are pushing in whatever state it may be, and this is how they get it by manipulating those on the other end of the discussion. It just shows what everyone already knows, all polls are fabricated but they will go to the extreme to prove to their own leftists that it was indeed obtained from real people, with proof. Just sickens me (you know how leftists can beat you over the head with there "polling data". I know this has been going on for years and years, I was just asked it myself personally. Just proves my mental (again of course) against anything these people say about any opinion polls.

This came from just a number, from a College here in my county. It was why I asked about their number from being out of state. ( I feel I have to edit this to clarify. The number "it" texted from was out of state. The introduction to the "it" or person for me was directly from a college enrollee in my county. I understand how a bot can do this, but this did not seem to be a bot). I understand what you are saying though. Do not know who gave you a downvote as everything you say reads fine to me. My father told me a lot of great things to watch out for in life, he has been gone for five years now. I am going to be reaching my late thirties soon so I hope it did not have to do with someone mistaking you for a child (I hope you are not). Either way, thanks MC.
