Stay strong, man. I got fired once for reporting my boss to HR for harassment of both myself and other employees... total shitshow. Was told I was “disappointing clients,” but the guy who took over my portfolio didn’t actually contact any of them to let them know I was gone. Got calls from my clients for a while after that. Lol. Fuckers couldn’t even follow up on their lies.

(And yes, our boss was actually abusive. He once decided the best way to teach somebody a lesson was leave a full trash can leaning against their office door. So when she opened it... yeah, trash everywhere, and as she stood there with tears in her eyes asking why, he just told her not to be late to the next meeting. Shit like that.)

Anyway, it was the best thing that happened to me. Sometimes work situations get poisonous and they do you a favor when they kick you out the door. Hope everything works out for you!
