Do you live somewhere warm? Sandals are fairly easy to make yourself if you don't want to give money to any major brand. Barefoot walking is actually surprisingly popular too. You could probably live your life without shoes if you REALLY wanted to, but I get that it isn't practical for everybody.

Fellow Florida pede! Could you buy an arch support brace? Going barefoot is actually really healthy if you need arch support. Try going totally shoeless for a whole day, doing everything like you usually do, and see how you feel afterwards.

Walking barefoot is GREAT for foot pain. Next time you walk on the treadmill, ditch those New Balance and walk el natural :-)

Same. So what do you need the new balance for?
