In my opinion he has nothing to lose. He was cheated in 2020 and everyone knows it, if he even got around the cheating of primary, no way he would win against the cheating in 2024. They would know how to cover their tracks or develop a completely new method.

A bit disappointed at the hosts' obsession with Occasional Cortex's fake story, which was a honeypot. They wasted too much time on that. They gave that pathological liar too much attention she deserved.
She described her terrifying experience of hiding in a bathroom stall while one intruder - which was actually a capitol police officer - was yelling: "Where is she? Where is she?" She said that triggered her PTSD of being sexually assaulted when she was young - she didn't mention a word about that at the height of the MeToo movement, and that experience "compounded" on her PTSD. Later it turned out that it was all phoony balooney. She was in her own office at the time sipping coffee with a pal. She used all of that as a cajole to hit republicans who wanted to "move on."

If a massive company like Fox doesn't see value in holding on to Dobbs (and others); defending the lawsuit(s) and risking that the plaintiff wins; than the idea that guppies like Newsmax, OAN, etc could stand up to that sort of pressure is absurd. If all of those claims of fraud and manipulation don't stand up to a thorough vetting- then Fox will be on the hook for billions. Newsmax, OAN and similar companies don't have billions. At 75 years old, Lou has likely made so many lucrative investments over his career, it wouldn't surprise me if he just went into retirement and enjoyed his life without the stress that network news outlets like this bring.
I will certainly miss seeing his shows and hearing his insights. Best of everything Lou! You've earned it.

These lawsuits really have a chilling affect. If a massive company like Fox doesn't see value in holding on to Dobbs (and others); defending the lawsuit(s) and risking that the plaintiff wins; than the idea that guppies like Newsmax, OAN, etc could stand up to that sort of pressure is absurd. If all of those claims of fraud and manipulation don't stand up to a thorough vetting- then Fox will be on the hook for billions. Newsmax, OAN and similar companies don't have billions. These guys overreached when they claimed fraud firsthand. The should have just reported the news and relied on allegations from Trumps legal team. So now, their entire case rests on whether Rudy can prove what he was saying. He didn't do too well in court, we'll see what happens here

Fox News has canceled “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” the program hosted by television’s staunchest supporter of Donald Trump and of his assertions of voter fraud in the 2020 election, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The cancellation comes a day after voting software company Smartmatic filed a $2.7 billion defamation suit against Fox News and three of its hosts — Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo and Jeanine Pirro.

I haven’t clicked on their website or watched any program (used to be a huge tucker fan) since the election. I now get all my news from conservative sites and don’t watch any news on the boob tube

Lou Dobbs was one of the few reasons to watch Fox. If you follow the Fox News ownership you know the real story. Turned them off for good now.
