I hope he moves to OANN or RSBN! He's a good guy, doesn't deserve this at all. Horrible what they're doing to him, but I hope he's keeping his head up because he knows it's BS.

He probably has a one year no compete clause in his contract so can’t go anywhere back on broadcast or cable. It probably now includes all streaming services too.

That’s typical for personalities on TV or radio. And no it is still in effect even if they fire you or choose not to renew you when your contract expires. Their argument is we spent millions promoting you and your name so we’re not just gonna let some competing entity reap those rewards. If you are on air talent they literally own the rights to your name, face and voice for the non compete period. That’s why most talent who are fired write books or teach or consult for a time after they leave the public arena.

I don't know about that. Megyn Kelly made the switch to NBC pretty quick and she was one of Fox's most recognizable names.

True. It was surprisingly quick considering her high name and face recognition but she was also a drama magnet and not liked at all at the network. She may have been able to have her attorneys negotiate the noncompete to just three or four months to get rid of her toxicity
