Well guess what, it was all true, in fact Parler was just recently hacked and they managed to get all the drivers licenses scanned from every verified user, including meta data that included geo-location.
Bongino pushed it hard. You can't say "maybe he wasn't aware". No. He was. He was heavily invested and had talks to the devs about it and still pushed the fake theories.
The wired article I read about this said only publicly available info was downloaded. Basically they just downloaded all the public tweets. The only thing bad was the photos didnt have the exif data scrubbed and the tweets were in numerical order so it was easy to download everything.
