Has anyone ever put together a list of all the controversial communities which didn't get censored by Reddit staff?
Stuff like "RapeKink" or "ForcedBreeding" for example, you'd think would lift some eyebrows about propagating stereotypes some would object to. One might expect that would have a more logical link to the encouragement of violent assault than any of our threads.
Like Facecuck and Twatter, they don't care about violence, about illegal activity or about discrimination. They only care about shutting down any opposing ideas. They have been doing this for a long time now.
For example When the Pulse Nightclub shooting occurred, news about it was offensive to muslims and Reddit shut it all down - except on r/The_Donald .
Leave Reddit. Don't give them the clicks necessary to get more advertising revenue.
yeah I always forget about the subtle income, I like the format but should look for equivalents (or start them) for communities that I like...
Besides VOAT trying to remember if there was any other alternatives. I know places like this are similar forks for specific communitiues but I mean as a multi-community host
