i genuinely find it bizarre that it's a trend now to adop children of a different race. Wouldn't you want to adopt children that look like you? doesn't that make more sense. if you adopt children of a different race they are FORCED constantly to talk about being adopted. every single person you interact with in a gruop setting is going to ask. If they look like you then it only comes up when you want it to come up. Seems way easier.
