You wrongly assume that these people care enough about the money that they’re gonna lose that it would change their decision. They have so much money that even if they lose 50% of their income every year, they will still be in great shape. It’s just like how President Trump lost half of his net worth while he was in the presidency, but he did it anyway. When you have enough money, you can just do what you want.
