He is still under contract to Fox. So they are fucking him twice. Off the air and not allowed to work somewhere else while Fox pays him to sit home. This is the perfect way for leftist scum to silence us. He should immediately write a book to lay out all the bullshit at fox. They can't stop him from writing a book

ANTI_Globalist12 [S] 8 points ago +8 / -0

Can't he just resign?

8
Palmtrees 8 points ago +8 / -0

No. Not if they keep paying him under the provisions of his contract. His contract would need to contain an opt out clause for him to resign

7
EdwardTeller 7 points ago +7 / -0

He might have a line item that says "If you remove me from the air for 90 days, I get the rest of my contract payment and the right to cancel."

If he doesn't that should be a rider everyone uses now.

Eventually fox will completely fuck themselves and allow someone big to leave and that person will become the corner stone over at Newsmax

arkylady 14 points ago +14 / -0

Newsmax isn't much better than Fox. OAN is where it's at.

-4
Stormbringer33 -4 points ago +3 / -7

Greg Kelly is ok by me...and OAN looks like a hostage video. Terrible production like newsmax. Hard to watch

6
arkylady 6 points ago +6 / -0

I don't need a multi-million dollar production to present the news to me.

3
illidann 3 points ago +3 / -0

i noticed that the more bare the production is, the more truth you hear.

yes improve production if you can, but not at the expense of doing the bidding of corporate sponsors.

DebbieinDallas 2 points ago +2 / -0

That’s how FOX usd to be when they first started

7
Forgotmypass666 7 points ago +8 / -1

Why are people still watching fox? I turned that garbage off years ago. It's the rino network.

7
infeststation 7 points ago +7 / -0

Why are people still watching newsmax?

The traditional ways to consume media are compromised. Moving over to the new"good" one at the time is a trap, just like Parler. Streamable, etc.

We need more than alternatives. We need to come up with a online constitution and have websites agree to it. Outline things they can never do once they sign it. Including this website

Forgotmypass666 0 points ago +1 / -1

Idk... I don't have cable anymore. Been getting my news from. TD for years now.

2
CoryInTheHouse1776 2 points ago +3 / -1

Ewww...newsmax

1
DebbieinDallas 1 point ago +1 / -0

Newsmax owner Chris Ruddy is now friends with Bill the rapist Clinton. He used to oppose him in the 90s. So he is compromised. Plus Newsmax dissed My Pillow guy in the interview last week. I would choose Oann over Newsmax, but then again I dont watch TV...so 20th century

They may go the way of buying out the contract and getting new terms for more cash. He has a radio show so has more outlets to vent than most people.

There was some lefty whose show was cancelled on maybe msnbc and they just kept paying so he or she couldn't say anything. Can't remember who it was but I remember laughing that they wanted them to shut up

3
Palmtrees 3 points ago +3 / -0

might have been chris mattews

4
TonyTreehouse 4 points ago +4 / -0

I think it was a less known person. He went out due to sexual harassment issues . Which might allow them to cut what he was owed per the terms. No one wanted to hear from that guy after.

2
Palmtrees 2 points ago +2 / -0

Have you noticed Mark Halperin got canned by msnbc and now is a regular on Newsmax

4
FastnFurious 4 points ago +4 / -0

CNN did that to Steve Cortes

2
h4b1t 2 points ago +2 / -0

Fox did the same thing to Megyn Kelly before she crashed and burned at NBC or wherever it was.

1
DebbieinDallas 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes and she has been trying to rehab herself with us lately too through her tweets

2
noobcontrol 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well, he can prepare for the time after the contract.

-1
milehighvoter -1 points ago +1 / -2

He probably could as long as he fully retired. Can't resign and then go work for someone else.

4
Vermin 4 points ago +4 / -0

Depends about the book.
They were probably smart enough to get Mr. Dobbs to sign an NDA.
I would camp out though overnight to buy a book he wrote though.

2
pray4peace4 2 points ago +2 / -0

Non-disclosure agreements are common

2
Hippopoonis 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's all they got. Fox did the same thing with Shepard Smith, thinking he was such a star. Look at his ratings. In the shit hole.

Lou Dobbs is a different animal. He's going to be missed big time and whoever lands him is going to benefit. I miss him already.

2
Ch138 2 points ago +2 / -0

Im sure Tell-Alls are covered in his contract.

Mary911 16 points ago +16 / -0

OAN could use some of the good journalists like Dobbs and Judge Jeanine on the weekends. A lot of their weekend news shows are reruns from Thursday or Friday on their night shows. I believe they have room for them. Then OAN can have the best ratings since Newsmax screwed up last week and lost me too.

OneBigMaga 6 points ago +6 / -0

The biggest problem with oan is that they feel like amateur hour. They are doing good work, but the production and the hosts sometimes feel like something out of a high school play.

6
arkylady 6 points ago +6 / -0

I see people say this all the time. Why are we conditioned to need our news coming along with fancy sets and graphics?

1
CoryInTheHouse1776 1 point ago +1 / -0

Makes you wonder if they can afford anyone in Lou's paygrade

2
DebbieinDallas 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sometimes it is not about the money. Lou is 75. He might like a chance to screw some people

1
DebbieinDallas 1 point ago +1 / -0

Makes it more real, doesnt it

6
FalseKingJoe 6 points ago +6 / -0

Lou you da man

5
Bramage 5 points ago +5 / -0

faux just keeps digging their grave deeper. i turned them off completely, including Cucker and cia-pin-wearing Hammity.

5
2224522 5 points ago +5 / -0

Lou has earned a nice retirement and a place on the beach. A well deserved rest.

2
YoureMyFavPerson 2 points ago +2 / -0

To add to this, I don't think they can afford him.

1
DebbieinDallas 1 point ago +1 / -0

Some people die when they retire...they need the daily excitement for a fix

3
OneBigMaga 3 points ago +3 / -0

I'm not sure oan could afford him, but it would be huge for them if they got him.

3
MAGA_MyPillow 3 points ago +3 / -0

Can you smell the deep state Fear!.. the weekend before Trumps Unconstitutional impeachment trial. Fox removed on of the last remaining voices that questioned the election.

3
TheRedRight 3 points ago +3 / -0

This ^^^

Pirro and Maria B will be gone by Monday. I hope they all have plans to unite OANN&RSBN into one media and unite for the people.

All of Fox's hosts should bail to other conservative news orgs.

1
deplorablebot 1 point ago +1 / -0

Most contracts have a way out.

1
Ghostphaez 1 point ago +1 / -0

He's under contract still, I believe - they won't let him go to another network.

1
catch-a-penny 1 point ago +1 / -0

Lou should start his own newsite.

1
Kaboola 1 point ago +1 / -0

Oan needs a business chanel anyway

1
Palazzolo1 1 point ago +1 / -0

I agree. I don't trust Newsmax, because it is allowed to broadcast on Comcast/Xfinity that is owned and operated by dystopian technocratic collectivists: Deranged megalomaniac geo-social engineers. If Newsmax were not on board with Comcast/Xfinity, then it wouldn't be there. I think that I'll call them dystopics.

Its not just Lou Dobbs...its him and is research and production cohort.

Stop worshipping those TV celebs, they are just overpaid parrot jesters

-1

They don't have the budget.

In six months, there won’t BE an OAN.

DebbieinDallas 1 point ago +1 / -0

Hopefully because it has been absorbed into the new Trump channel
