There's a fine line between having the courage to do nothing and just plain old cowardice.

Agreed, but not my point. Why did Trump purposely say that to the world?

Don't you find it odd he delayed that speech for over an hour? It's like he knew something was going to happen and protected the crowd.

It's pretty evident. All Pence had to do was not put his imprimatur on the vote and just let it go back to SCOTUS to determine. Why ask such a silly question?

I would add - Trump knew Pence would be called a traitor immediately as did Pence. That takes unbelievable courage. Explain to me why Trump is being so quiet now and just walked away. This man was calling out election fraud and the Dominion machines publicly since 2012. You think he was surprised by the fraud?

So Trump voicing great displeasure with Pence, you decided that wasn't true, despite the fact Trump used actual words, and instead, you conjure up some position he's never stated, and you prefer to believe that instead?

I took that statement the exact opposite. To actually put his "imprimatur" on the vote which takes much more courage. Especially considering Pence's past and him staunchly defending the fraud that took place after the election and up to a day before certification. It's like Trump WANTED Pence to certify with the above quote. My quote makes perfect sense if that was the case and definitely plausible. Far from silly.

Trump was obviously very upset with the course of action Pence took, but now you're trying to make the case that Trump was secretly very pleased with what Pence did.

That's just silly.
