Totally agree. I switched to Linux Mint - Cinnamon a few weeks ago as a test using an old laptop. Works great and have had zero issues. I'm planning to move my macbook air to linux (I used to dual boot windows and mac), but I'm doing a bit more research on it.

And if you are going to continue to use Windows or Apple, at least change your search engine to https://searx.me - plenty of public ones or host your own!
