Ferrets (family Mustelidae), Study showed that (family Mustelidae), had a low to medium probability of catching and transmitting SARs-coV2 based on the configuration of the ACE2 receptors in their lungs not closely matching human ACE2 receptors..............except later last year Covid/Chyna virus raced through mink (family Mustelidae) farms worldwide killing thousands of mink and transmitting easily back to humans.
BTW, they are still infecting several species with the virus for "beneficial" purposes only. Nothing could go wrong with that. (sarcasm)
