In a long time coming, Mitt Romney made an announcement today on 2/6/21, a month after the Protests at the Capitol Hill that he would be changing his gender to be conservative.
In a stunning move to win new voters. Mitt dressed up in a Viking hat and wrapped an American flag around himself, as a part of typical conservative fashion, but appealed to the trans community by applying joker make-up and wearing a dress.
This has not been without criticism however, from notable feminist, J.K Rowling who tweeted "Mitt Romney is not a conservative. A conservative cannot be a liberal. A liberal cannot be a conservative." Her tweet was taken down by twitter for hate speech, then put back up again, then taken down again, as the company is incredibly confused.
Jack Dorsey tweeted "We really haven't ever encountered a situation like this before, we are in high-support of the trans community, but we also hate conservatives. Internal talks have broken down."
Many other politicians have come out in support of Mitt Romney after the transition including: Liz Cheney, Lindsey Graham, and Brad Raffensperger. Most notably is Mitch McConnell who has also put himself down to get conservative reassignment surgery.
Left wing politicians have just come out in confusion. AOC tweeted: "The fact that Mitt Romney is trans-conservative does not change the fact that Ted Cruz personally killed my family, with a machette, in the 80s."
Pollsters have gone out and asked voters what they think of the change. One republican voter, also dressed in a Viking hat as a part of their typical conservative garb, says, "He has got my vote, for the next thing he runs for." Other republican voters have commented, "Mittens was never a conservative. The fact that he now identifies as one does not change that fact." One liberal voter says "Black Lives Matter. All Love is Love. No Human is Illegal." Other liberal voters when polled have said nothing, as they are dead.
At the same time, Mitt Romney is floating the idea of a child-poverty ban and has come out in support of paying 1.9 trillion to relieve covid, while also raising taxes on the middle class, which are typical conservative positions.
I love this.
HAHAHA
