Bernie is an establishment plant masked as a liberal populist candidate

And the mask is very thin at that. God damn these people are so stupid and worthless.

Part of me wonder what is worse (if any) -- establishment or populist liberal?

The great progressive red pilling is well under way. Millions of them have taken the red pill in the last few weeks.

For the last 10 years the democrats have been telling progressive voters the only thing stopping universal healthcare, $15 minimum wage, free college, student loan forgiveness, ect is republicans. Now the democrats control everything and still come up with excuses as to why they won’t give the progressive voters anything they promised. Even the supposedly super progressive “squad” has abandoned progressive voters on policy changes. Going to be a fuck load of red pills dispensed over the next year alone.

Like I've been saying- $15 an hour is the carrot on the string. It is far more likely they will get you to work an additional 16 hours a week, well before they raise minimum wage. They will eliminate overtime, no more 40 hour work week. They are trying to destroy religion in order to get you to work 7 days a week.

I still think Bernie may have been genuine... riiiiiiight up until he got a taste of that sweet, sweet, establishment honey.

He should have been dead to everyone the second he endorsed Clinton, it was all downhiller from there.

He went from making an amazing case as to why suing firearm manufacturers for deaths was a terrible idea, to supporting lawsuits against firearm manufacturers, almost overnight lol

He was also against open borders in 2015, said illegal immigration is bad for working Americans. Now he says immigration enforcement is racist.

In 2015 he was also for putting tariffs on China, said that allowing China to ship products here at no cost hurts the American worker. Now he says it’s bad to put tariffs on China.

He had a few ideas I didn’t agree with in 2015 but I do think he wanted change and to end the obvious corrupt policies that hurt Americans. Since then he’s been an establishment sell out that has left behind basically everything he ran on in 2015.

commie scum scams gullible people out of their money. News at 8.

Bernies wife started a media purchasing company, something she has no experience doing, called Old Towne Media to buy ads for his 2016 and 2020 campaigns. Per the rules the purchasing agent company can take a 15% commission on the ads spent. Resulting in Bernie personally making $12M in 2016 and $14M in 2020 from his campaigns.

That coupled with him publicly denouncing the DNC, the platform was running on, and the DNC obvious reaction was to deny him their support and the primaries means those jokes about "another beach house" are legitimately true.

Don't lick the lead paint kids. You end up supporting the most establishment of political cronies while believing you're the resistance.

And in 2022/24, he'll be back out, telling them he'll fight for a minimum wage.

HA HA HA HA!

It's just ridiculous at this point. We truly, truly live in clown world.

Hey Bernie, as a two time loser to same exact democratic play, you need to take note of this....

Fool me once, shame on them. Fool me twice, shame on me.

This is a sweet hustle for Bernie. Collect all those campaign donations, and spend bare minimum and pocket the rest

He's no dummy as he is a multi-millionaire from the only job he has ever had with the Gubmint - he just has a lot of dummies as supporters. He's been around long enough to know that Republicans in the Senate will raise a Byrd Rule point of order for the minimum wage increase. The Senate Parliamentarian will likely rule that vaid. Hard to believe that they can get 9 Republicans to vote to override that. There are also significant obstacles to increasing overall spending. That could set up a situation where spending across the board, including autopilot spending like Medicare, SS, etc, would be slashed to pay for it unless they get 60 votes to override that. Thus far they have only passed resolutions to use budgetary reconciation, the real devil is in the details. Here's Reconciliation for Dummies resource which is greatly simplified compared to the actual language https://budget.house.gov/sites/democrats.budget.house.gov/files/documents/Budget%20Reconciliation%20The%20Basics%20-%202020.pdf
