By the end of the 80s, 'the science" said all these crack babies had grown up to be super predators, which was Racist Joe Biden's justification for the 1994 crime bill.
This effectively destroyed the inner cities. We know now that "crack babies' were bullshit utilizing screwed up studies. Any scientific study can be monkied with to affect whatever outcome you want. All you need next is some reputable Medical Journals and doctors to parrot the ideas enough and people just blindly believe.
We never actually see the science. We just take it for granted that the expert is telling you the truth.
Hence, people running around with 5 masks inside their house or bending over for an anal swab.
