A while back my wife and I both caught the Chinese Bat Virus. Im 72 she is 66 yo. My wife has always had a thick full head of hair . She is now losing her hair, noticeable thinning.
Her Hair dresser told her that she has had several of her customers who have recent onset of hair thinning all had the China Plague .
I told my wife that if she went bald she would have to grow a goatee and wear only one earring, she was not up with that.
Any one else have experience with this ?
I'm sorry but the goatee joke cracked me up 🤣
Well I had a coof and I don't have problems - although I'm a young lad. But - just one year older friend however. I noticed that he started to slowly get legit bald starting from the top. Slowly but surely. No history of balding in family ever, and he has 3 brothers and they also have no problems.
Me, my friend and his brothers had the coof in a similar timeframe.
Well, you got me curious

Did she change her diet 3 months previous? Any radical change in diet can account for sudden hair loss and it does grow back. This happened to me when I went keto for 6 months and then when I switched back, 3 months after I had scary hair loss. The derm I went to asked me what was happening 3 months previous-- was I very stressed? Etc. Finally the diet thing dawned on me. And she said Yup, that's it.
Your wife's hair loss could be association not causation by the 'rona.
