We need to get a parallel economy going, asap. It has to be highly exclusionary. If actual secession comes, we’ll already be several steps ahead, and we may just collapse the blue economy, beforehand.
You'll need to seize / take control of key industries (esp. with distribution and logistics) otherwise, you can grow your food or treat the water or make something neat, but can't get it to your consumers.
Then they use the banks to destroy you financially. Then they send goons to the home you can no longer pay a mortgage on to threaten you and your family and put you in jail or worse.
We don't accomplish anything by trying to separate ourselves from these despots. They will pursue us relentlessly using any means necessary.
This nightmare only ends when we make the despots disappear.
I don't disagree with this approach. I not only encourage it, I demand it. But you're talking about building an entirely separate society parallel to the corrupt one... from the ground up.
