Easy for government employees to do.

Well, when you’re forced to be disarmed on base, who’s gonna stop you?

It's mexican and central american gang bangers in the military stealing the stuff, and you can bet that 10 pounds is just a tiny fraction of what they've stolen.

14
this_mortal_coil 14 points ago +14 / -0

Or said gangs working with military personnel. The intelligence agencies run, or at least work with, a lot of the crime syndicate in central America.

8
mojavegreen 8 points ago +8 / -0

There are gangs in the military. It's been that way for a while.

4
goldwater4ever 4 points ago +5 / -1

I read something about this the other day and it was published in the nineties I believe.. They have infiltrated the prison systems in certain states as well..

1
mojavegreen 1 point ago +1 / -0

There's a Gangland documentary about it.

QSWO1 8 points ago +8 / -0

Underrated comment by someone dealing with reality.

4
nickybops 4 points ago +4 / -0

I remember reading somewhere a lot of gang members from Chicago go into the military.

8
Americomrade1 8 points ago +8 / -0

They do it to get tactical training to bring back to the gang.

12
OconusLurex 12 points ago +12 / -0

Yeah, and the humvee was in CA as well.

Edit: looks like the 2 bases are about 2 1/2 hours away from one another.

9
goldkeyboardwarrior 9 points ago +9 / -0

While the ammunition supply points on bases may be heavily secured, once the ammo is drawn and troops go out to train in the field it's almost surprising how lax security may be on the ammo.

Of course, some units may be more strict at guarding it than others depending upon their areas. I remember in South Korea in 2002 we had roving guards during field exercises because South Koreans would sneak into the training area at night to steal stuff they can sell on the black market such as NVGs.

On the other hand, in the States, I've seen ammo sitting outside at night while the crew was inside of their vehicle sleeping. I haven't been to the field since 2016, but it was better then than it was 10-15 years ago at least.

LOL. This reminds me of how we used to store Chemical Weapons. There were these bunker like things in the middle of pretty much no where. Imagine a curved garage. Inside them were barrels and barrels of chemical agents like VX Nerve Agent, Blister Agent, etc. No guards, no patrols. Just the equivalent of a garage door and a padlock. It would have been so easy to drive a pickup back to it, take a hammer to the lock, open the garage door, and begin loading as much chemical warfare agents as you could haul. I really didn't think much on it until your comment.

And no it wasn't like it was on base where you had to go through a checkpoint or anything. It was like a storage area off base and there a ton of those bunkers too. Probably had weapons and shit in them. I bet that crap is still going on too.

2
Nukemall 2 points ago +2 / -0

If you are talking about what I'm thinking of, those were probably what we called igloos. Designed to store explosives. Typically the "padlocks" used on then run about $1000 each and are considered high security locks. You would be hitting it all day with a sledge. They can take multiple shots from a 50 cal. Demolition Ranch (YouTube) had a good video on it.

But I've never been around chemical weapons storage.

Bronski 4 points ago +4 / -0

Hi, Lockpicking Lawyer...

LOL

1
glow-operator-2-0 1 point ago +1 / -0

You can cut the metal around the lock (on the gate or door) if your igloo is what I think it is (a military tuffshed)

Nukemall 1 point ago +1 / -0

https://media.defense.gov/2019/Apr/26/2002121815/780/780/0/190423-F-WN543-026.JPG

Not easily cutting them either. Even the thinnest does we had were 4" (not solid) and multiple layers.

1
glow-operator-2-0 1 point ago +1 / -0

Either the bolt gives first or the lock's arm.

Where there is a system (physical or otherwise) , there's a method to hack it.

1
Nukemall 1 point ago +1 / -0

Most of these, and the hasp, also had tungsten carbide on them to help deter/slow down physical attack.

Anything to slow down thing until security can show up.

1
Kitzinger1 1 point ago +1 / -0

They were these concrete like bunkers. Imagine if you took a soda bottle and cut it half way down the middle length wise and tipped it on it's side. They had dirt and grass that covered them so they looked like these long round hills with flat ends and basically a driveway going to the front of them. I'll be honest those locks didn't look like much and this was 1992.

1
TheGreaseman81 1 point ago +1 / -0

What year was this? I was a (5711) nuclear, biological, and chemical defense specialist from 01-06 in the Marine corps. as far as I know we do not use or stockpile chemical weapons. The only exception being at fort Leonard Wood Missouri where you have to go through a VX nerve agent and GB (sarin) nerve agent gas chamber in my MOS School. I can't confirm any of what you are saying. The only place where chemical agents were stored are in very clearly marked bunkers that are fenced off, with many chemical agent placards surrounding the perimeter.

1
Kitzinger1 1 point ago +1 / -0

1992 to be exact at Fort McClellan. I was a 54BL12 NBC Recon.

1
TheGreaseman81 1 point ago +1 / -0

You had me at fort McClellan. That is where the school used to be. Knowing this now I can't absolutely refute what you're saying. However standards have changed immensely since then.

1
Kitzinger1 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yep, they had a full Nerve Agent training facility with full decon and everything. Saw a bunny die there from Nerve Agent exposure. I'm sure after 9 - 11 a lot of things changed but it did strike me a little weird that there was all this stuff in the middle of nowhere and we just drove to it without being stopped, opened up a garage door, and grabbed a couple of barrels and off we went.

1
TheGreaseman81 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah they don't take bunnies or goats or anything like that in the chamber anymore. Now they just use chemical agent monitors both area and point source detectors to show that you are in a chemicaly contaminated environment.

3
ManyDirt 3 points ago +3 / -0

In Korea they count spent shell casings, literally.

2
PraiseBeToScience 2 points ago +2 / -0

20, 25, and 30mm shells are serialized and inventoried. I kept trying to get a live 30mm API.

Could these missing explosives of been stolen by some bad actors in the DS to carry out as a false flag at the Super Bowl? This is just my suspicion. We'll have to see.

Is anyone even going to be at the game tomorrow? I haven't watched football, but isn't it cardboard fans?

3
muhqtardtho 3 points ago +3 / -0

Probably the same as NBA. They seat spectators on the same side they film from to uphold the illusion of covid while keeping their vendors happy who rely on concession sales etc. Only reason I know is because we did work for an NBA player who gave us free tickets.

25
SgtCup 25 points ago +25 / -0

My worst fear is this. The FBI stole it and are planting it at thesuperbowl where only "front line workers" got tickets and their narrative will be some qanon trump supporting covid denier did it. Please let me be wrong. FBI CIA NSA don't do a terrorist attack we already know its you before it happens.

5
ImReallyRich 5 points ago +5 / -0

It will happen before the impeachment trial to distract from the fraud evidence

5
Aambrick 5 points ago +5 / -0

Lets see:

  1. Others have said it is hard for people to steal stuff from bases unless they are government employees, military, or the base just had lax security with the perp knowing when to strike which goes back to having access in some fashion.

  2. A humvee, 10 pounds of explosive, and unknown reasons. Humvees are normally bullet proof to small arms fire meaning that driving it fast through gun fire would be the first intent, second 10 pounds of explosive is dangerous yet won't cause to serious damage unless combined with the Humvee on a full fuel tank with extra explosive material loaded up(Fine powders, Excess gas in cans, etc.) which would make it a very deadly in a quite a large area. Unknown reasons is still there, but with point 1 and the first parts of point 2 means that there is a target.

  3. This just happens when there is major stuff upcoming like the HR 127 Bill, and other things that would likely try to obscure it even more in case of a national event.

  4. There is hardly any evidence of links(clues which should be obvious for an average or amateur break in into a place that would pick up the slightest clue even if it was not a super high priority it still is a high priority). This smells of CIA or NSA work. Either there is going to be a frame up going to happen, or an event to distract from bills that would weaken the people in true fashion so as to allow government to kill legally without consequence.

I say the false flag is actually going to be a Quadruple false flag events.

Terrible example though. Show an example inside a car or building. It's a lot more impressive in context and not from such a distance.

6
PepeTheFrug 6 points ago +6 / -0

it will definitely fuck some shit up, especially packed with nails, tacks, ball bearings, etc. i just dont think its really big enough for an event like the superbowl. bombs are already illegal. id think their target is guns, unless the bomb is the trigger to drive folks into an enfilade ambush. i got to make some homemade IEDs while i was in. one thing we made was a claymore out of an ammo can packed with all sorts of shrapnel but the biggest thing we put in there was a hammer. a whole hammer. put a hammer sized hole through a target 50 feet away. couldnt have been more than 5 pounds of explosive.

definitely sucks, but my money is on some retard who misplaced it(generally the people that are in charge of c4 are staff NCOs, but there are still some mouth breathers), or some lower guy who stole it for some dumb reason.

4
Trump2024 4 points ago +4 / -0

I was able to dabble with making IED's with a mentor who taught the topic in the army. I totally fucked shit up!

My money is on someone on guard duty making the stupidest decision of his soon to be very fucked up life.

So.......what appendage you lose?

4
Trump2024 4 points ago +4 / -0

Eardrums

2
ActualAdult 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well, applied use can have substantial impact but in context it's about half the explosive content of a standard 105mm HE artillery shell.

Don't get me wrong, turn up at a concert with that wrapped in nails and you're going to make headline news. It's just not going to hurt a state capitol building.

2
glow-operator-2-0 2 points ago +2 / -0

4

"white supremacist" false flag on the way

3
KidSnifferBiden 3 points ago +4 / -1

What is it about calling everything a "false flag" that's so appealing to some people?

Is it that impossible to comprehend that people genuinely dislike living under unelected tyrannical governments enough to strike back at them?

Not condoning, or advocating, but it's not something I can't believe would happen.

Do you really think everything anyone does to attack this government is a "false flag" or is it framed that way to make us think and say that?

To make us disavow and distance anything that happens?

Seems a little like cuckoldry.

3
TrumpAndGodWin 3 points ago +3 / -0

Mentioning false flags can help to prevent them and their effectiveness if enough people know about them. If anyone "strikes back" it'd be more obvious based on the logic of which target they chose.

Maybe sams club can teach these folks a lesson or two.

2

"stolen"

2
trumpmixtape 2 points ago +2 / -0

Twentynine Palms, the same town Trump's fabricated child sex victim lived. Remember her from 2016? No one would take the case, only taken up after he got the nomination. No one ever met her, not even her lawyer. The court couldnt locate her because the residence she gave was a 0.75 bathroom (how is that possible?) shack the size of a shoe closet that had been repossessed a week before the complaint.

2

Once you get past the main gate, if you buy a uniform online, you can get to almost anywhere that isn't a vault by just... walking in.

That being said, this shit definitely just went missing while drilling in the desert. Fell off the truck, was blown up and not accounted for, someone didn't do the inventory right, or some idiot threw it away. Yes, that level of stupid crayon-eating shit can happen.
