There's a reason all the video was withhold until way later.

Video of him resisting arrest and asking to lay down, and screaming that he can't breathe before he was ever on the ground, due to the massive drug overdose that gave him a heart attack

Let's not forget the autopsy, which basically says no significant damage to the neck, and lethal quantities of fentanyl in the blood.

First time I'm reading this. Thanks for posting.

And hypertension. Dude was a time bomb on his own, swallowing his stash (again) during an imminent arrest contributed to his own death. Resisting arrest? Get physically restrained. Escalate? Get more aggressive pre-emptive restraint.

Then get your body paraded around the country in some macabre ritualistic spectacle to stir up emotion.

$0R0$ at work making Helter Skelter happen.

A lethal dose of fentanyl is ~2 mg, and 2 mg in 5 L of blood is 400 ng/mL, over 36 times the 11 ng/mL he had. This is far below "lethal quantities". Most habitual users also have a significant tolerance.

I thought people were against fake news here? You're not helping by spreading disinformation.

6
MehNahMehNah 6 points ago +6 / -0

Did you see the cocktail in his blood in that report? Meth? Three forms of fentanyl? (11 ng/mL fentanyl + 5.6 ng/mL norafentanyl + .6 ng/mL 4-ANPP Despropional Fentanyl + 19 ng/nL Methamphetamine + the 86 ng/nL morphine in his urine) Dude was a druggie with some serious cardiovascular issues and possibly sickle cell. A time bomb on his own.

The caffeine, THC and nicotine was probably not a significant contribution- but the Coronavirus may have been.

US3RNAM3 1 point ago +2 / -1

I agree. But was all that rioting over a druggie who was recently released from prison for an armed home invasion robbery justified? The guy was a piece of shit.

1
DonaldTrumpForever 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why was he a piece of shit? Because he did drugs? More people do drugs that you don't know about that you interact with than you'd think.

2ng/mL is lethal dose for most people. Can be upwards of 5-7 in resistant and larger humans.

Handshake: check.

Disinfo: check

Deportation needed: check

https://www.emcdda.europa.eu/publications/drug-profiles/fentanyl_en agrees with his 2mg but explicitly counters your 2ng/ml claim, suggesting 10-20ng/ml for anaesthetic purposes.

However..

Blood concentrations of approximately 7 ng/ml or greater have been associated with fatalities where poly-substance use was involved.

So 11ng/ml as part of poly-substance use could well be a material contributor to cause of death.

Then there's this: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3576505/

The substance abuse deaths had a mean fentanyl blood concentration (26.4 ng/ml or μg/L) that was over twice that of the natural group (11.8 ng/ml).

On the whole I'm really not convinced it's reasonable to blame Fentanyl for Floyd's death. I would seek professional pathologist input regarding the mix of drugs in his system.

The key factor in the linked autopsy report is the lack of damage to the neck. It's going to be interesting at the trial to see how the prosecutor justifies claiming kneeling on the neck was the cause of death when it left no marks.

DefenderDad 0 points ago +2 / -2

Okay- what other substances were in George Floyds blood at that time?

I’ll wait while you prove my point.

2
ActualAdult 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm so sorry that I linked to two different sources that both disagree with you.

It must be a terrible blow to your ego. I hope someone that loves you is close to hand to give you a cuddle.

1
DonaldTrumpForever 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sorry you have to deal with that child. We know which one is the adult here.

0
DefenderDad 0 points ago +1 / -1

Your source proves my argument.

Lethal in the 7 range if other substances are involved.

You literally missed the part of “what other substances were in his blood” part of the facts.

You lose.

DonaldTrumpForever -10 points ago +3 / -13

Misleading. 11 ng/ml of Fentanyl CAN be lethal, but that does not mean always and does not mean in this case. Most likely because of tolerance and other factors.

And as we know, the cause of death wasn't the actual knee to the neck, but rather the restriction of breathing that the officer's body weight caused. Nobody realistically thinks he has any damage to his neck.

4
Smurfection 4 points ago +5 / -1

"CAN" here means mostly which means unless George Floyd had a tolerance that almost surpasses anything but the most avid fentanyl user. Yeah, the fentanyl was only a "CAN" in the sense that inevitable isn't a medical term.

3
UserGen1776 3 points ago +3 / -0

snopes is that you?

2
IHatePedophiles 2 points ago +2 / -0

Claim: George Floyd overdosed on fentanyl which caused his breathing problems. The officers did not kill him.

Verdict: the officers did not have an oxygen tank and adrenaline shot on hand ready to be used, this resulting in George Floyd's death. FALSE!

2
Farmerbob1 2 points ago +2 / -0

Drug addicts don't tend to be terribly healthy. A high risk dosage combined with a self-abused body means an even greater chance of death.

2
NotAPuma 2 points ago +2 / -0

Good job on the Fact Check. But again, why would the Officer buy that shit if the guy was screaming "I can't breathe", before he's on the ground? Literally the "Boy who cried Wolf" in action here.

1
DonaldTrumpForever 1 point ago +1 / -0

The whole thing was just unnecessary. There was a good 2-3 minutes at the end where Floyd was clearly OUT OUT and he still was pressing on his back and neck. Like clearly shit like this doesn't happen in a vacuum, but if that cop didn't know the person under him was unconscious at that point, then I don't know.

1
MehNahMehNah 1 point ago +1 / -0

Even if Chauvin wasn't aware this was Floyd's MO (swallowing drugs upon risk of arrest) you are right. The police didn't hunt him down randomly, they were called because he was trying to pass counterfeit bills.

1
NotAPuma 1 point ago +1 / -0

I never said they hunted him down randomly.

Nobody realistically thinks he has any damage to his neck.

Of course they do. For instance, readers of the New York Times. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/29/us/knee-neck-george-floyd-death.html

It's right there in the sub-heading:

in Minneapolis, a knee pressing on a neck led to a man’s death

I did some research on this that few other people seemed to have done.

The store owner of Cup Foods (where the incident happened), Mahmoud Abumayyaleh, he co-founded the Brooklyn Park Islamic Center with Nausheena Ali Hussain.

Nausheena is deputy director of Minnesota CAIR, Bush Foundation Leadership Fellow, Minnesota DNC delegate, served as an election judge, and is on a committee for Headwaters Foundation (a BLM donor before the Floyd incident), and helped get Ilhan Omar elected. She's done at least one TEDx talk too.

It's interesting that this happened outside her business partner's store.

Wasn't he there in Nazi Germany assisting somehow in Jews being put on trains and basically having no problem with it?

11
Meddlesom 11 points ago +11 / -0

He was a Jew who collaborated with the Nazis as a teen, and helped confiscate Jewish wealth for the Nazis after those Jews were removed from society. In an interview he called that time the best years of his life.

Off memory, he was sent to live with another family which is where he got the Soros name from. He was called the man's godson and any trace of his heritage was kept a secret. He went around with his new godfather seizing property from Jewish people for the nazis during his teenage years which got him started with his fortune. He said it was the greatest time of his life.

Yup that sounds like what I read as well. I think those are actually his words also

The hero of the black community is a dead beat dad that swallowed his own supply of fentanyl and died. How pathetic does the "community" have to be to make that low life its hero?

6
Amaroq64 6 points ago +6 / -0

They haven't even spoken his name ever since the leaked bodycam footage exonerated the officers.

But they did keep rioting over every thug or rapist who got shot by cops.

8
RedditIs4Retards 8 points ago +8 / -0

It's fucking pathetic that it's hard as fuck to find a innocent black person killed for no reason by cops so you have to resort to rioting over Pedo rapists who get killed by cops while resisting arrest and potentially reaching for a gun.

Fentanyl Floyd. I hope he’s burning in hell. Fuckin piece of trash criminal.

Let’s be honest here folks, is the world a better and safer place without that piece of filth? This question answers itself basically.

2

Even had it been pure police negligence, nothing warranted what happened next or the hero status he has. And at the end of the day, a lot of innocent lives will be safer now.

Soros is the puppet master here. He is funding the riots as well as the prosecutors and DAs that are dropping charges. Look at what antifa says...."no nations, no borders" Soros runs "Open Society". He wants a global one world government of communism. Biden and his administration are globalist elites that are willing to usher his meddling of our country in as long as he and his deep state crony corporations are getting big slices if the pie.

Simple, why would you as an officer of the law ever stand with your foot on an suspects throat during after you had them on the ground during apprehension? Especially while being filmed. Police officers aren’t always in the right. Some departments do have a gang mentality. Two wrongs do not make a right.

1
NadlerShartWaddle [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

The knee to the neck is a standard restraint used by law enforcement and military all over the world that does not restrict airflow. Officer Chauvin was trained and certified in its use.

Mr. Floyd died by his own hand due to the chemicals he ingested. The only reason anyone outside of a few people even noticed or cared about the passing of a junkie and multiple felon was the media attention that was specifically tailored to provoke a violent response from BLM as they do every election year.

All they needed was a dead black man. They tried a bit before with mr. Ahmaud Aubrey, but that one didn't seem to get enough emotional attention. Similar things happen regularly, but you will never see the outrage unless it's being astroturfed for a political gain.
