Please pay attention to what you post pedes. Why route us through google to get to youtube? the address above

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DrSmGxw0GSq8&ved=2ahUKEwiB5K6S7dbuAhVqB50JHeU_CTAQ28sGMAB6BAgBEAs&usg=AOvVaw2ByJFa3AplBosuYcuBMBbU

can be reduced to this:

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url= https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSmGxw0GSq8 &ved=2ahUKEwiB5K6S7dbuAhVqB50JHeU_CTAQ28sGMAB6BAgBEAs&usg=AOvVaw2ByJFa3AplBosuYcuBMBbU

Everything I crossed out is tracking information. Additionally, if you're going to link a video that's on youtube, please replace "you" with "hook" to go to a youtube mirror site that doesn't give them any clicks or ad funding. The link above would look like this:

https://www.hooktube.com/watch?v=rSmGxw0GSq8

Million times yes! Until all the pedes can figure out how to setup Pihole and block everything, this is the way.

Is there any way to block this new shit google is doing where they embed the page and no doubt stalk you while you read an article or whatever

(Yes I use duck duck go as my default search engine but sometimes you have to go to the evil beast to get better results)

I think Privacy Badger blocks Google trackers.

There are some pretty neat extensions that can help reduce the amount of monitoring they do. Here are some Addons I suggest:

  1. Ublockorigin (General Ad blocker)
  2. NoScript (Prevents unverified scripts from being run in your browser)
  3. Decentraleyes (Prevents tracking from google/ads/others)
  4. HTTPS Everywhere (Helps stop insecure http sites from monitoring and some other fun stuff)
  5. Facebook container (If you use Facebook still, it stops them from viewing browsing data by letting you login to a separate container)
  6. Ghostery (Ad blocker, tracker blocker)

If you're using brave browser, you can install chrome addons since they both run off of Chromium. Here is a guide for installing chrome addons: https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017909112-How-can-I-add-extensions-to-Brave-

Better yet. Post on Rumble and bypass YouTube entirely.

Also true for Google's "amp" links people post here. Google uses a cached version of a website to allow faster loading (amp in the link is the telltale sign)....

Most people have insanely fast web connections these days we need a cached version of a website that Google is in control of and can change anything on that page without you ever knowing?

No thanks!
